(Auburn) - State House of Representatives Leader Phil GiaQuinta will headline the campaign kickoff for 52nd district house candidate Walt Sorg.
The event is Tuesday, May 21 (6:30 p.m.) at Auburn’s 9th Street Coffee Brew. Tickets are available online at https://secure.actblue.com/donate/coffee-kickoff; walk-ins are welcome. A minimum contribution of $25/person is requested.
GiaQuinta (D-Fort Wayne) has served in the Indiana Legislature since 2006, and was chosen Democratic Leader in 2018. GiaQuinta is the past recipient of a Legislator of the Year award from both the Indiana Trial Lawyers and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. He also has received the Civility in Government Award by the Association of Retired Members of the Indiana General Assembly (2018) and was inducted into the Fort Wayne South Side Hall of Fame in 2019.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.
The 52nd state house district includes all of Dekalb County, the eastern portion of Noble County and southeast Steuben County.
